Sunday School takes place year round for kids of all ages during our 10:30 am worship time. Summer is a little different than our program during the school year. Starting in June, Sunday School starts in the church instead of in the school building!
Starting June 9, all children will meet in the sanctuary for the 10:30 am worship service, and will be invited to “follow the cross” to their meeting locations. We’ll have two groups – teens in grades 7-12, and younger children 3 years old through sixth grade. They will return to the sanctuary to join their families and our congregation in time for Holy Communion.
Sunday School teachers will welcome children to dive into the Bible in engaging ways! Students will bring their Bible stories to life through crafts, skits, and discussion. Our younger children will read the novel “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” by C.S. Lewis in preparation for Vacation Bible School.
Teens will explore a theological book study, and on third Sundays, they are encouraged to help lead the younger children by reading and discussing the Bible lesson.
Remember, we offer loving nursery care during the 10:30 am service for children 0-3 years old.
