Ribbon Cutting at St. Martin’s Episcopal School
Members of the greater Keller Chamber of Commerce joined St. Martin’s Episcopal School for a celebratory red ribbon cutting at St. Martin-in-the-Fields on August 28, 2014. The entire school turned out for the celebration, joined by members of the church and the community.
Staff of the Chamber warmly welcomed St. Martin’s Episcopal School to its membership. The Chamber’s goal in serving the needs of the business community in North Tarrant County is simple – to make members more successful.
Rudy Martinez, president and CEO of the Chamber, presented church Senior Warden Bob Bess and school Interim Director Cindy James with a Chamber plaque. “It is with great pleasure that the Chamber of Commerce welcomes St Martin’s Episcopal School to the Keller Chamber. If there’s anything that we can do to help you engage in this community more and more, please let us know. We’re excited to have you here. It’s exciting to see the future leaders of Keller, Texas sitting here.”
Brenda DeVore, Chaiman of the Board of the Chamber, spoke to the assembly. “This is a wonderful organization, and as you know, this is a wonderful city to be in, so many exciting things are happening, and the future of Keller is sitting right here. We welcome you, we put our arms around you, If there’s anything we can do for you, we’re a phone call away, just down the street.”
St. Martin’s Senior Warden Bob Bess shared his thanks as well. “I want to thank everyone for coming over to join us and to tell you how excited we are to be officially a part of the Chamber of Commerce. St. Martin’s and St. Martin’s Episcopal School welcome you to come to our facility and be a part of us any time.”
St. Martin himself had a meet and greet with the kids and guests. Coach Tino Smith of Fever United Football Club cheerfully dressed as the school’s mascot.
The school, serving children ages 18 months through five years, is still enrolling with spots left in every age group.
