Many gathered at the end of the 7 pm Ash Wednesday service on February 10 to visit the Lenten prayer station in the sanctuary. They got a chance to dip their fingers in black paint, creating smudgy, dark crosses on a piece of fabric. The purpose of this prayer station is to help everyone enter into a season that calls us to reflect on our lives and move into a deeper relationship with Jesus.
The prayer station will be available during Lent with the focus changing each week. It offers interactive, thoughtful ways to walk with Jesus as we prepare our hearts for Easter. Join us this Sunday, February 14, to add your own cross to the artwork at the end of the 10:30 am service.
