Consecration Sunday

The apostle James reminds us in his letter to the church that our stewardship is an act of passing along what we’ve been given: “Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above…”

Giving financially to support the mission and ministry of St. Martin’s is not something to do because it is an obligation that is imposed on you. It is a grateful response to God, recognizing every perfect gift we have already received.

This year the stewardship team asks you to pray and look deeply into your hearts to consider the gifts that God has given you. Ponder the role that St. Martin’s plays in your life and in the life of your family. We invite you to join us in a time of prayerful discernment about what gifts you have received from God, and about what gifts you will offer back in thanksgiving.

RSVP and join us at 10:30 am on October 10, for Consecration Sunday.

We will gather for worship and fellowship, give thanks to God for what has been, and pray for God’s good work to continue through us in the year to come.

RSVP if you and your family would like to join us for a celebration boxed lunch from Jason’s Deli. Even if you are unable to come, please let us know!

Please note – deadline to order food is Wednesday, October 6, by 4 pm. Thanks!
