We are very thankful to the 14 youth and 12 adults that donated 109 hours on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Together we completed the flagpole project to improve the walkway. In addition, with time left over, we reworked the weed barrier fabric around the perimeter of the Labyrinth and removed the old tree stump by the playground, which was much more than expected!

We also want to thank Montoya Masonry in Granbury for the professional help, Jewell Stone Supply in Fort Worth for donating the pavers and Lowe’s in Southlake for a great Eagle Project discount on the other supplies. Finally, thank you Mr. Wanjura for buying everyone ice cream at 5 pm as we started to wind down the project. It was a great day that could not have happened without the entire group effort.

You can still help!

To help offset the cost of this project, Jordyn needs our donations by April 30. You can do this using one of these methods:

  • Give online. Use the drop-down menu to choose “Eagle Project” from the drop-down menu.
  • Text an amount + EAGLE to (817) 270-6880. (Example: 50 EAGLE)
  • Write a check to St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church. Write “Eagle Project” in the memo and mail to: PO Box 1149, Keller, TX 76244
  • If you donate cash, be sure to put it in an envelope and label it with “Eagle Project.” You can drop it off during our drive-in worship service on Sundays at 10:30 am.

Thank you for your time and contributions!
