Dear Parishioners of St. Martin’s,
We wanted to give you a final update on our November outreach coat drive.
All together we collected:
- 94 coats
- 87 hats
- 21 pairs of gloves
- 12 scarves
This warm outerwear is a real blessing to the homeless population of Fort Worth as the temperatures grow colder.
We blessed all the donations during worship service on November 28, and the Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County truck came to pick them up. Once again, they were overwhelmed by and so appreciative of how many coats and such St. Martin’s donated!
St. Martin’s shows again and again just how generous and caring we are, and how we live our motto to be “Jesus Christ’s heart, hands and feet to our neighbors.”
