Liza Goodner is excited to bring her passion for teaching, love of children, and love for Christ to the growth and future of St. Martin’s children. She has attended our church since 2015, alongside her husband Eric, teenage son Matthew and 8 year old son Elliot. A Texas native raised in northern Louisiana, she returned to Dallas to attend SMU and to be closer to her family. She holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Liza has worked intermittently as a substitute teacher since 2004. She also has a background in advertising. In most recent years, she’s worked as teacher for the Mother’s Day Out program at First United Methodist Church in Frisco, served as St. Martin’s pre-K director for
Vacation Bible School the past two summers, and has taught Sunday school to Kindergarten, first and second grade students during the 2017-18 school year. She’s eager to continue planting spiritual seeds and nurturing spiritual growth!
