For a while now I have considered applying for vestry membership, but have hesitated because I travel frequently. After speaking to Father Alan about the availability of accommodations I’ve decided to take advantage of the current opportunity to serve. I have previously served in the vestry at St. Paul’s Cathedral (Springfield. Il) and Trinity Episcopal (Mattoon, Il). I’ve enjoyed the experiences and feel I have skills to share, but more importantly I want to be part of the important work of making sure our church survives and thrives – spiritually, financially, and communally.
