4Saints Food Pantry – fresh food distribution on April 25

4Saints Episcopal Food Pantry needs volunteers on Saturday, April 25 to help pass out food to those in need.

In the wake of COVID-19, our need has become even greater! We do not want to cancel our monthly fresh food distribution, especially now. If you are healthy and showing no signs of illness (cough, fever, body aches or sore throat), please consider lending a few hours of your time to this important ministry.

We will be taking extra precautions this Saturday. Police will be present to direct traffic, as we will hand food to people through their car windows. We will do our very best to maintain the recommended 6 feet apart from everyone, and will have gloves & hand sanitizer available.

Tarrant County Food Bank provides 4Saints with frozen meat, and fresh fruits and vegetables. In order to distribute them, we need lots of volunteers to continue this vital mission of getting food into the hands of those with food insecurity.

You can help!

On the 4th Saturday of each month, we ask volunteers to gather at 11 am in the parking lot of Meadowbrook Elementary School, directly across the street from St. Luke’s in the Meadow. We should be finished by 4 pm, depending on how many people need to be helped. Feel free to come for a 3 hour shift,  either 10:30 am – 1:30 pm, or 1:30 – 4:30 pm.

Teens & Scouts – this is a great opportunity for you to get your service hours in!

We hope you consider coming out and being a part of this important ministry.

For more information, please contact St. Martin’s 4Saints representative, Rebecca Haynes at 949-370-5769.
