4Saints Food Pantry – Monthly opportunity to help

4Saints Episcopal Food Pantry at St. Luke’s in the Meadow Episcopal Church is open to serve the Meadowbrook area of east Fort Worth. The Meadowbrook area has many low-income families, and hunger is an issue there. This is the only food pantry in the area. St. Martin’s joins St. Alban’s, Arlington and St. Stephen’s, Hurst in our support of this food ministry.

Currently, 4Saints distributes food every Friday. We’d like to add a monthly Saturday distribution as well, to take place on the 4th Saturday of each month – but we need YOU to help make this happen! Tarrant County Food Bank provides 4Saints with frozen meat, and fresh fruits and vegetables. In order to distribute them, we need lots of volunteers to continue this vital mission of getting food into the hands of those with food insecurity.

You can help!

On the 4th Saturday of each month, we ask volunteers to gather at 11 am in the parking lot of Meadowbrook Elementary School, directly across the street from St. Luke’s in the Meadow. We should be finished by 4 pm, depending on how many people need to be helped…on Saturday, January 25, we saw over 300 clients!

Teens & Scouts – this is a great opportunity for you to get your service hours in!

We hope you consider coming out and being a part of this important ministry.
