Bishop Rayford High retires, with our thanks!

From the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth:

The Rt. Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr., third provisional bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth, retires (again) on June 30, 2015. He was elected in November 2012 at the diocesan convention in Stephenville. As a going-away present, the diocesan staff presented him with a yellow labrador retriever puppy.

The puppy has no name as yet, so we are calling him the Episcopuppy. Bishop High plans to fly home from General Convention, go pick up the puppy, and head to his river house for a little R&R — and puppy potty training.

God speed, Bishop High. And thanks.

Here is a photo review of his work among us.

If you would like to add your thanks to Bishop High, you can post him a card at the diocesan office at 4301 Meadowbrook Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76103
