The outpouring of love was hard to miss at Vacation Bible School (VBS) this year. Children, teens and volunteers got an opportunity to learn more about the great love that Jesus has for each of us. Responding to that love, many donated toilet paper and size 4 diapers for a VBS outreach project to help the folks at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County (UGM). UGM works to end homelessness. Their mission is simple, but powerful:
Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County is a united Christian organization and ministry dedicated to providing love, hope, respect and a new beginning for the homeless in Tarrant County.

Vacation Bible School Outreach Project Donation Stats:

  • 2,040 size 4 diapers
  • 489 rolls of toilet paper

Many thanks go to Julia Bishop, Vacation Bible School outreach coordinator who helped publicize this successful outreach project.
Check out a few pics of our “diaper and toilet paper volcano” that we built during Vacation Bible School. Thank you so much to all who donated to this project.
