Vacation Bible School Outreach Project 2015

Reaching Out to Share God’s Love

Every year at Vacation Bible School we teach children how much God loves them, and we also teach them how to share God’s love with others through an outreach project that has local impact. This year, our outreach project will support homeless people served by Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County. Union Gospel Mission helps people who have no home make their way back to a stable life in a home of their own.

How You Can Help

We will be collecting donations of two simple items:

  1. Toilet paper
  2. Size 4 diapers

Yes, that’s all. These two simple items that kids understand are on Union Gospel Mission’s immediate needs list. So, let’s keep it simple, be generous, go big, so big our kids can stack them up into a volcano-shaped mountain and see our impact grow! The brand  you buy doesn’t matter. The diaper size does.

Drop Off

Bring your donations to the shopping cart at the back of the church sanctuary on Sundays or to the church office. During the week of VBS, we will be receiving donations in the education building. We will bless the donations at the VBS Celebration Worship and Luau on Saturday, June 27 at 5pm in the church sanctuary. All are welcome! Sunday, June 28 will mark the end of our VBS outreach project for 2015.
