Reaching Out to Share God’s Love

Every year we teach children how much God loves them at Vacation Bible School.  We also teach them how to share God’s love with an opportunity to reach out in the community and make a difference.  This year, our outreach project, led by Julia Bishop, features an exciting partnership with the new Keller Animal Shelter at 330 Rufe Snow Drive in Keller.  The shelter works to protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community and offers animals to be adopted into loving homes.

How You Can Help

We will be collecting donations of the following three simple items:

  • Gallon jugs of bleach
  • Plastic wrapped paper towel rolls
  • Clean bath towels

Drop Off

Bring your donations to the back of the church sanctuary on Sundays or to the church office.  During the week of VBS, we will be taking donations in the education building.  Please, no cash donations.  We are keeping things simple with only collecting bleach, towels and paper towels.  We will bless the donations at the VBS celebration service, held on Saturday, June 21 at 5pm in the church sanctuary.  All are welcome! The celebration service will mark the end of our VBS outreach project for 2014. If you have donations after that date, the shelter will welcome them; please contact them directly at 817-743-4710.

Thank You

Making a donation will help the Animal Shelter further its work in the community.  This is a good thing!  Thank you!
