Ushers Visit Children’s Chapel

This summer we are inviting heads of ministries and volunteers to share the uniqueness and richness of their particular ministry. A group of ushers visited last Sunday to talk about their work of welcoming people and assisting in the worship service.

Children and teens got to ask important questions and even got a chance to try passing the collection plate, telling the children about each step of their ministry. Children had fun in the chapel practicing how to send people to the communion rail also. It was a great day and ignited sparks of interest in the young people of St. Martin’s to join in the ministry of ushers.

Thanks to Rex and Kerry Angle, Kesa Clingman and Florence Draper for visiting chapel and encouraging children to be a part of the ministry of the church. Check out a few pics snapped during chapel.
