This month, children and youth ministry focused on the “immediate needs” list from Union Gospel Mission (UGM) by hosting a sock drive for the men who reside at UGM.
In just three weeks, 180 pairs of new socks were collected in the church sanctuary and education building. This is a wonderful way to cap off five months of focused giving campaigns, sponsored by children and youth ministry. Each campaign of giving benefits the homeless served by Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County. From a canned food labyrinth to a water bottle campaign, St. Martin’s has responded to each call with generosity.
