Hey teens drop what you’re doing and head over to the Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) room in the large parish hall at 10:30 am. We welcome 7 – 12 graders and their friends for teen Sunday school. We’ll return to church for Holy Communion.
We are kicking off fall Sunday school with an exciting interactive Episcopal curriculum called “Exploring the Bible.” Exploring the Bible is based on the book The Path, which teaches essential bible stories while making the Bible accessible to all. See you Sunday!
Hey, adults – we need you too!
Volunteer to help with our teen programs and be a part of this exciting ministry. We need two adults (youth leader plus one adult) each for Sunday school, Wednesday night EYC meetings, and Sunday Funday outings. Volunteers don’t have to be parents! Sept 4: EYC Wednesday night meetings are back! Come kick off EYC in the large parish hall – Bring your favorite board games to play while we enjoy pizza and sodas, catch up, and plan Sunday Fundays.
September 15: Meet the Sunday school teachers brunch: Teens and families, come to meet your teachers at 9:45 am in the large parish hall and visit classrooms; enjoy brunch items, turn in permission forms and learn more about our Sunday school! Please bring a potluck brunch item to share. Don’t forget that we are a Nut & Latex free campus. Hope to see you there!
Septmeber 15: Service Sunday is happening on the THIRD Sunday this month, so that we don’t miss out on the ministry fair, or our meet & greet with our new interim rector Father Ron Pogue and his wife Gay. Please join us as we assemble sandwiches and bags of food for the homeless served by Union Gospel Mission! If you are able, please donate grape jelly, nut-free cookies, granola bars or rice treats, and ziplock style sandwich bags. We greatly appreciate your donations! Want to help in another way? Be an Early Bird and help us set up before church at 9:30 am. We need help every second Sunday in all these ways.
September 28: Church Bingo fundraiser at 6 pm in the large parish hall. Come & enjoy dinner & Bingo fun for the whole family!
