Teen News for January

Hey, Adults! Volunteer – we need you!

Volunteer to help with our teen programs and be a part of a growing ministry! We need two adults each for Sunday School, Wednesday night EYC meetings, and Sunday Funday outings. Volunteers don’t have to be parents! Sharing your presence with teens is rewarding for you and inspiring for them. Contact Youth Minister Megan Grant at megan.grant@stmartininthefields.org.

January 2: Game Night EYC

Calling all gamers! We are having a game night for our first EYC of 2019! Bring your board games, card games, or video games/consoles and we will be celebrating the New Year with fun! Kick off is 6:30 and will end at 8.

Service Sunday on January 13 after the 10:30 am service

Please join us as we assemble sandwiches and bags of food for the homeless served by Union Gospel Mission! If you are able, please donate Sunbutter, nut-free cookies or nut-free granola bars! We greatly appreciate your donations! Want to help in another way? Be an Early Bird and help us set up before church at 9:30 am. We need help every second Sunday in all these ways.

Sunday Funday on January 27 after the 10:30 am service

We are going to MainEvent! Lunch will be there and I will be announcing our package price soon. Be on the lookout for that on your Remind App.

Incorporating your faith and career – adults, will you talk to us?

Parents and churchgoers, have you been wondering how you can feed into the growth of our students? We have kicked off talking with teens about the merging of faith and real life jobs. Can you help?  Come and give a simple, but thought out, explanation of what you believe “faith” is, a brief explanation of your jobs, and how your following of Jesus connects and relates to how you work as the hands and hearts of Christ. Please email Megan if you are interested!
