Teens, parents, and volunteers, we’ve got some news here for you!

Hey, Adults! Volunteer – we need you!

Volunteer to help with our teen programs and be a part of a growing ministry! We need two adults each for Sunday School, Wednesday night EYC meetings, and Sunday Funday outings. Volunteers don’t have to be parents! Sharing your presence with teens is rewarding for you and inspiring for them. Contact Youth Minister Megan Grant at megan.grant@stmartininthefields.org.

Service Sunday on December 9 after the 10:30 am service

Please join us as we assemble sandwiches and bags of food for the homeless served by Union Gospel Mission! If you are able, please donate Sunbutter, nut-free cookies or nut-free granola bars! We greatly appreciate your donations! Want to help in another way? Be an Early Bird and help us set up before church at 9:30 am. We need help every second Sunday in all these ways.

Sunday Funday on December 16 after the 10:30 am service

We are having a Christmas party at the church! Grab your ugliest Christmas sweater and come watch a Christmas movie while we drink hot cocoa. We will be getting pizza and have Christmas cookies.

Incorporating your faith and career – adults, will you talk to us?

Parents and churchgoers, have you been wondering how you can feed into the growth of our students? We have kicked off talking with teens about the merging of faith and real life jobs. Can you help? Come and give a simple, but thought out, explanation of what you believe “faith” is, a brief explanation of your jobs, and how your following of Jesus connects and relates to how you work as the hands and hearts of Christ. Please email Megan if you are interested!

December 19 & 26 – No Wednesday EYC

Last year we met for the second week before Christmas and only had 2 students. Thus, we will not meet Wednesday 19. Wednesday 26 is the night after Christmas. Please stay with family. Start a new family tradition. Whatever it is, may you celebrate family and practice gratitude for the people who support and cherish you.
