Sunday School news

Godly Play & re:form students:

This Sunday, May 21, Sunday-schoolers will join together in the East Parish hall to celebrate a year of walking with Christ and learning that when you love God and serve others, you change the World! Parents, please send children and tweens with a “brunchy” type of snack or dish to share.

Teens (6-12 grades)

This Sunday, May 21, all teens are invited to sit in a special designated row in church for our graduation celebration held during the 10:30 am worship service. Fr. Scot will offer an encouraging sermon to inspire our young people, especially those who are graduating this spring. During worship, all graduates will be invited to come forward for prayers. Teens will also be asked to come forward as a show of support for those graduating. We’ll also have a slide show and special reception after the 10:30 am service in the school building to honor high school graduates on May 21.  Contact the church office for more information.

Sunday School shifts on May 28!

Sunday School continues during the summer with no break, but changes format and location. There is ONE THING you need to remember during the summer: everybody starts in church. Kids 4 years – 12th grade are invited to follow the cross after the Gospel is read and process to Sunday School activities and location. In our combined age group, teens and tweens are welcome to help lead the younger children by reading and discussing the lesson or by facilitating a hands-on project. We’ll have an amazing time trekking through God’s world in new and exciting ways, and we’ll learn and share and grow together. Children will return and join their families and the congregation in time for Holy Communion.
