Summer Study Class on Tuesdays!

Who ARE we?: What does it mean to be an Episcopalian today?

Mother Lauren will be starting a class on Tuesday, July 3rd at 7pm for adults and mature young people interested in becoming confirmed members of the parish. The class is 6 weeks long.  Each class will have its own discreet focus, so you can attend some or all of the sessions.  Please RSVP to if you plan to to attend even one session so that we can have adequate seating set up.  Classes will be held in the large parish hall.

  • July 3: Who, not what we believe (trust)
  • July 10: Our Jewish heritage. Hebrew Scripture. Bring your Bible
  • July 17: The meaning of Jesus the Christ. Greek Scripture. Bring your Bible
  • July 24: Personal prayer. How we connect with the Holy One
  • July 31: Communal prayer. Liturgy, sacraments, what we do together
  • Aug 7: How we govern ourselves. Parish, Diocese, General Convention, Anglican Communion

Together, as newcomers, old-timers, and seekers. let’s gater to study and discuss, thus deepening our relationship with God, Christ, and the Spirit.
