This year we are banding together with St. Alban’s and other area churches to provide stuffed Christmas stockings for families served by 4Saints Food Pantry. Pick up a bag at the back of the church. There will be a list of suggested items stapled to the bag. Please circle who you are buying for – girl, boy or adult and bring your filled bag back to church by December 2 (the day of our Advent Fest). St. Alban’s will collect the bags from all participating churches & put together stockings to hand out to families in mid-December.
Some suggestions for stocking stuffers:
For girls – lip balm, bracelets or watches, mini dolls, Play-doh, stickers, crayons or markers, mini note pads, card games (Old Maid, Uno), sunglasses, mini books
For boys – silly putty or slime, Matchbox cars, mini flashlights, colored pencils, tattoos, mini Rubik’s cube, mini action figure, mini Slinky, Yo-Yo, harmonica
For adults – seasoning mixes (taco, ranch), wooden spoons or spatulas, potholders, band-aids, purse size Kleenex, kitchen towels, kitchen scissors, hand salve (Burt’s Bee’s), nightlight, word search or puzzle books, tea, coffee or hot chocolate packets, toothbrushes or toothpaste, sticky notes or notepads, jar opener, book of stamps

We will continue our tradition of gathering gifts for our Angel Tree for children served by Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County. Look for Angels in early December!
