A little more about Elke Tessnow
I was born in Düsseldorf, Germany on July 21, 1936. I came to this country in April 1956 and spent the first year on a cattle ranch in Garden City, Kansas. After working for Learjet in Wichita, Swearingen Aircraft in San Antonio, I retired from Bell Helicopter in Hurst in January 2000. At that time we moved to Lago Vista, TX, where I remained until September 2019. I was married on February 11, 1961 and widowed on December 9, 2015. I have two sons, one daughter, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. I have an MBA in Engineering Management, a Ph.D. in General Engineering, and I am a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
