Thy kingdom come

This week, the Rev. Christopher Thomas discusses the Lord’s Prayer. It is ubiquitous among so many faiths, and is certainly a touchstone of our own. Father Chris asks us to think about what “thy kingdom come” means to you personally? What is it asking of you? In our gospel reading, Jesus’ vision of “thy kingdom come” is apocalyptic. It isn’t our money, or power that will bring us the kingdom. So what is? What will you give to God to receive God’s blessings, and to be a part of God’s kingdom?
