In his sermon this week, The Very Rev’d Ron Pogue discusses the gospel reading and the parable that Jesus tells. Jesus talks about things that get lost: a sheep, a coin, a son. Father Ron tells us that those who are lost to God are useless to God – and so God seeks to find all those who are lost. Father Ron also talks about the pain that the loser feels for that which they loved that is lost.
