In his sermon this week, the Rev. Christopher Thomas talks about trust, why we trust, and the vulnerability that comes with trusting in others. The relationships that we have, to our family, our loved ones, or our mechanic down the street require trust, and that trusting leaves us vulnerable. But vulnerability does not have to be a weakness. In vulnerability there is love, and where there is love, there is God. He asks us to ponder what this means for our relationship with God.
