In his sermon this week, the Rev. Christopher Thomas talks about “Moral Moments,” those moments in which we can choose to do the right thing or the wrong. He relays this into the gospel reading this week, the demise of John the Baptist at the hand of Herod Antipas. Herod certainly knew that John was a righteous man, and Herod knew that killing him was wrong. Rev. Thomas asks us to reflect on how we are doing with our own moral moments, especially the most mundane moments we face daily.
