This past Sunday was the Feast of Pentecost, a high Holy day in our church. Our first reading tells the story of how the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit, and each began to speak in another language. Our service this week was filled with readings in other languages as well! For his sermon, the Rev. Scot McComas invited the children up to the front to be a part of this special service. He explained the history of Pentecost, and talked about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a gift from God, Father Scot says, and each and every one of us has the Holy Spirit in us.
