In his sermon this week, the Rev. Scot McComas has a few things to say about the wisdom imparted in the reading from James, which “puts forth the notion of mercy and judgment.” He talks about the way we live our lives daily. It’s not always easy to live by the 10 Commandments, and it isn’t always easy to not pass judgment on those we meet. Showing mercy to those who have in our minds wronged us, is not an easy thing to do. Father Scot shares some of his own family stories to illustrate these points.
