Linda moved to Texas to be close to family, and quickly became active in many of our church ministries and activities. At St. Martin’s, she participates in the Wednesday Study, Education for Ministry, Outreach Committee, and Communications Committee (where she serves as the historian). She volunteers to organize the archives and communicate the history of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. She is the head of our chapter of the Daughters of the King. She represented St. Martin’s at the 2015 diocesan Convention, and is a lay representative from our deanery serving on the Executive Council of our diocese, and is a delegate to the 2016 diocesan Convention. In St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in DeLand, FL, she was a Lay Eucharistic Visitor and served on the Vestry.
Linda is retired from nursing, having worked for 40 years working in emergency department, surgery, home health, discharge planning in an acute brain and spinal cord injury rehab department, and as an administrator of an assisted living center.
She is eager to help spread Christ’s kingdom and to serve in our church as we grow and expand.
Linda’s term on the Vestry ends in 2019.
