Bob Garrity is a cradle Episcopalian born & raised in Maryland. He has served as a vestry member in two other churches, and for St. Martin’s in 1999-2000. He is happy to be back on the vestry this year.

Bob worked as an FBI investigator for most of his professional life. He has also been actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America since joining as a Cub Scout in 1960.

In 2007 Bob suffered a massive stroke which left him paralyzed on the right side of his body. Through physical therapy he’s regained the use of his right leg, allowing him his independence. He’s also taken part in speech and aphasia therapies.
