A big part of our preparation for the high school mission trip to New Orleans #txnola is centered on prayer. We need it; your prayers help us do God’s work. Please pray for us as we pack, pray and prepare our hearts for the journey to New Orleans on June 12-18.
Here’s a prayer that was shared with us:
Dear God,
Thank you
for eyes to see pain and suffering
and for hands to make it better;
for ears to hear about problems and challenges
and for mouths to discuss solutions;
for feet to follow the winding, tough road ahead
and for good hearts not to stray from the path.
Help us to continue to find opportunities
“to labor and not to ask for any reward.”
Help us to share our new knowledge
and sense of self with others.
