Young Rembrandts Summer Camp at St. Martin’s
Full day, week long workshops for kids ages 6-12 will be held at St. Martin’s this summer!
Young Rembrandts is an award-winning art enrichment program that has given the power of drawing to thousands of young artists. They have teamed up with Taste Buds Kitchen to offer some exciting workshops, with all new lessons each session. Camp is from 9 am – 4 pm, Monday through Friday. The cost is $375/week with before & after care available.
Each week, kids will begin the day cooking and end it drawing!
The Power of Drawing
Drawing is the fundamental skill of the visual arts that can – and should – be learned by all children.
Young Rembrandts teaches the drawing skills children need while developing learning skills that give children an academic advantage in the classroom.
The Benefits of Learning to Cook
It’s not just about food – though learning to cook with fresh ingredients is certainly a boon to our health. Kids will also learn some math (measuring cups & spoons require fractions) & chemistry (what happens to flour when you mix it with yeast and water?) Cooking can boost a kid’s confidence & allow them to learn some independence! The more ingredients your child is exposed to, the more they will be willing to try.
