Thanksgiving Day Worship

A little bit of normalcy in an abnormal year

There is much to be thankful for on November 26, 2020. Together, we have discovered new ways to be the Body of Christ while carefully observing health care precautions.  Our connectedness continues to deepen with each challenge.

Hymn 433 opens with the words, “We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing.” On Thanksgiving Day, St. Martin-in-the-Fields will host a Zoom Morning Prayer service. We invite you to gather and share Morning Prayer. It will be wonderful to hear the chorus of our voices together thanking God for His provision.

Dr. Joe Henry will provide a prelude, hymn, and postlude. Other than the presence of Zoom, the experience of worshipping together will seem quite usual.

If you would like to join, please follow the link in our Morning Prayer post here:

Before you turn on the oven and prepare the turkey for roasting, join us for Morning Prayer II.

If you would like to give a Thank Offering, you may give online here, and choose “Thanksgiving” from the drop down menu. Thank you.
