Sunday School Volunteer Info Night
Consider being part of the Sunday School team this year! We’re looking for people to help children on their journey with God. Will you give a little of your time and use your unique gifts in our Children’s Ministry? It’s easy and fun and you won’t have to miss out on your own spiritual development! Most Sunday School volunteers serve just once a month.
St. Martin’s invites you to Sunday School Teacher Information Night, Thursday, August 3, from 6 – 7:30 pm. We’d love to have you come to learn more. We’ll talk about what the Sunday School team does each week and share the exciting new curricula we’ll be implementing. We’ll energetically shift our Sunday School back to our during-the-school-year format on August 27.
We’re calling volunteers for loving service in the following children’s ministry areas:
Superintendent: Be the first warm face that children and parents see when they walk through the doors, help with sign-in and show children where to go. Superintendents hang up appropriate Sunday School signs, take attendance, and offer a welcoming, secure presence.
Preschool Sunday School teacher: ages 3-4
Dig-In Sunday School teacher: kindergarten – 3rd grade
Doorkeeper for Godly Play/Dig-in: serve as a calming presence during lessons
Grapple Sunday School teacher: 4th – 6th grade
Please put this call to ministry in your hearts! It’s an awesome way to be engaged and to grow. You will be loved, adored, and appreciated by our children, the sweetest souls on earth!
