Join us for City Week! City Week is a 4-day mission trip for teens and adults. It offers four days of amazing transformation, serving at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County (UGM). Participants will be a part of the daily rhythms of UGM, having opportunities to prepare and serve meals, lead worship services, work with children and families and much more. City Week will be held on June 26-29 at UGM from 8:30 am – 3 pm daily. Participants will drive to and from UGM each day. You don’t have to attend every day.
What makes City Week special is the connection that St. Martin’s has built over the years with UGM through prayerful giving and making and delivering sack lunches to the mission. Coming to UGM for a week, St. Martin’s teens and adults see the impact, and build even stronger ties by getting to know volunteers and staff. Our people get a chance to work directly with the children, teens and adults at UGM. St. Martin’s clergy will participate each day with our teens and adults.
Our registration deadline of May 21 has passed.
All participants must provide medical/photo release waivers which will be emailed to them. Contact <email address removed after event passed> for any questions.
To be a part of City Week, you must be 12 years of age by June 26, 2017.
Transportation by carpool
Interested folks will work out a carpool schedule to drive to and from UGM each day. Adults who transport others to the mission must be 26 years or older, be current on safeguarding standards and have a background check. Contact the church office at email@example.com for more information.
We invite you to follow the City Week mission trip by connecting with our church social media (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram). We’ll use the hashtag #cityweekfw for all of our church posts, and our participants will, too, in their personal posts.
