Annual Parish Meeting

Image word art saying Parish Meeting for St Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church

All church members and visitors are welcomed and encouraged to attend St. Martin-in-the-Fields’ annual parish meeting on Sunday, January 29, after the 10:30 am worship service. As a parish, we will elect vestry members and diocesan Convention representatives, attend to congregation business, review the budget, and hear where we are going together to reach more of our community and world.

The meeting will begin with a potluck luncheon! In the past, the church has provided the meat for the potluck. This year, we’re looking for a true potluck from you! Please bring in dishes according to your last name.

A-K: side dish or salad
L-R: dessert
S-Z: Main course/entree

It will be helpful to our volunteers preparing for the luncheon if dishes are delivered to the kitchen by 10:30 am. Lunch will be ready to be served after the 10:30 service ends. Childcare will be available.

Vestry and diocesan Convention delegate nominees

Our Vestry nominees are James Bedell, MaryBeth Butler, and Adam Jarrett. The Vestry works to ensure our parish ministry is carried out in accordance with our parish values, mission, goals, and priorities, and according to the constitution and canons of our diocese.

We have six open positions for delegates to the November 10-11 Convention of our diocese to be held in Cleburne. We have five nominees: MaryBeth Butler, Susan Kleinwechter, Becky Snell, Linda Snow, and Joel Walker.

Biographies are linked below. Learn more about who can serve on a Vestry and as a Convention delegate here.
