Thanksgiving Worship

Thanksgiving Eve service, November 23, 7 pm

Let us break bread together

There is much to be thankful for this year! We have persevered through some challenging times, and now we are able to come back together as one community. We may not be fully “back to normal,” but we’re getting there!

Hymn 433 opens with the words, “We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing.” On Thanksgiving EVE – that’s Wednesday, November 24, we will have a worship service with Holy Eucharist at 7 pm. Did you know that Eucharist means thanksgiving in Greek?

Morning Prayer

On Thanksgiving Day, before you turn on the oven and prepare the turkey for roasting, join us at 9 am on Zoom for Morning Prayer.

Thanksgiving Offering

God’s people have long made offerings for no other purpose than to say “thank you” to God for all the blessings of this life. Father Alan and the Vestry invite you to join us in that tradition with a special offering, saying “Thanks Be To God!”

This offering is not designated for any particular item so that it can be purely an expression of the believer’s gratitude.
