Christmas Eve Worship & Communion

Our Christmas Eve service will be pre-recorded and begin streaming on December 24 at 7 pm. Worshipers will view the service from their homes. This is Christ’s Mass, so we will celebrate Holy Communion as we always do. Here is how you and your household can receive the Sacrament.

Communion kits will be available for pick up in St. Martin-in-the-Fields Sanctuary:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, December 22-24
from: 10 am – 2 pm and 5 pm – 7 pm

We will be observing COVID-19 protocols. Please wear a mask as you enter the big red doors. We will be capping the number of people within the sanctuary at 12.

You’ll be greeted by members of the Pastoral Care Commission. Tell them the number of people in your household who will receive Holy Communion on Christmas Eve. Various pews will be available for prayers, if you would enjoy having some quiet time with God. When you are ready, your communion kit will be on the Altar. If you need accessibility assistance, please tell the greeter.

We will ask you to depart from the sanctuary using the same exit door we use to distribute communion in the parking lot. This will help us avoid gatherings near the red doors.

If you’re uncomfortable entering the sanctuary, please call the church office at 817-431-2396. We can arrange a time to meet you in the parking lot to bring the kit to you.
