Teen News For July

I hope everyone had a fabulous Fourth of July and that this finds you staying safe and wearing your mask. I know I am not too fond of wearing a mask in this hot Texas heat, but I do it for my neighbor and for my family to keep everyone safe.
This Sunday at 2 pm we will be having our first weekly meeting. A couple of weeks ago we started our book club where we are reading “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. I chose this book because of the significance it plays for children in a situation that’s similar to what’s going on right now. This allows us to have a jumping point to talk about how everybody is feeling in the world today.
