VBS participants and St. Martin’s members gave generously to donate school supply packs for Whitley Road Elementary. Over 30 Teacher Classroom kits containing supplies teachers need most: tissues, sanitizing hand gel, glue sticks, construction paper, costing $10 a pack were donated. 20 School Supply Kits were donated, at a cost of $35-$60 per pack.
Thank you to all who supported this project with your donations! You’ve helped local students in need get off to school with a fresh start. Special thanks go to Julia Bishop and her family for organizing, collecting, and shopping for this project.
School counselor Jaynie Smith is excited about partnering with St. Martin-in-the-Fields. Plans are in the works to spruce up the teacher’s lounge and work with the school where needed.Look for a continuation of doing great things locally in Keller, to be the hands of God that we are called to be in our lives.
