God willing and the people consenting, St. Martin-in-the-Fields’ youth minister Megan Grant will be ordained as a Reverend of the Gospel Word at 6:30 pm on November 11, 2018. The service will be at Covenant Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas.
Megan’s relationship with Covenant Baptist began when they called her to be their first pastoral intern during the summer of 2014. During the summer, Megan was mentored in preaching, pastoral care, and curriculum planning. Covenant continued to expand Megan’s view of the call of a pastor as well as taught her the art of standing in the gap between God and church. Covenant invited Megan back for a second summer internship and continued the mentoring relationship with her as she moved to Fort Worth and joined St. Martin’s as minister to our youth.
As Megan answers this call to go forward with her ordination as a minister of God’s spoken and unspoken word, she is honored to have the training and guidance of both Covenant and St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
