Trunk or Treat Tailgate was a great way for folks of all ages to come together to support mission trips by donating money and participating in this fall fundraising event. On Sunday, October 30, vehicles pulled into the “tailgate section” and were greeted by teens and adults who welcomed them to join in for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and even some tasty tailgate grub!

The event raised over $1000 that will go straight towards mission trips through St. Martin’s. You are sending a bold message of support: mission work is valuable and an important part of our DNA as followers of Jesus. Mission trips like City Week and the New Orleans high school mission trips help transform our people and that’s a great thing! We lose ourselves in the service of others and find that Jesus is right there with us during these times. The result is a deeper faith, a closer connection to God and a stronger sense of togetherness as a community of faith.
Can you help?
There’s still time to help support mission trips. Make a donation today online and write “trunk or treat” in the description. Or, simply make a donation the next time you are at church. You can write a check to St. Martin’s with “trunk or treat” in the memo and place it in the offering plate during any worship service.
Many thanks
