Get ready! We have a very important meeting coming up this Sunday, January 26, following the 10:30 service. Because it follows the service and our stomach clocks will tell us something else needs to happen, we will be having a potluck meal to nourish our bodies. Drinks will be provided. Please bring a dish to share and drop it off in the kitchen.
We will be electing vestry representatives and delegates to the diocesan convention. We will also begin a dialog on Worship and Christian Education. We are hoping to affirm the vision, mission and values statements.
In order to understand the importance and focus of these statements and the impact on the life and ministry of our faith community, we will be holding table-top discussions around these statements. I urge you to take some time this week leading up to the annual meeting and ponder what these words are saying….how they can and will impact you and this faith community named St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church. SEE YOU SUNDAY!
