Adult education

We we didn’t actually learn everything we need to know about God as a child or in a church sanctuary; faith is a journey of a lifetime. Come to one of our adult education classes and be with people who want to pursue knowledge, explore the Bible, explore ideas, and delve deeper into their relationship with God.

Human Flourishing: Love is the Way

Bishop Curry offers us insight about his life in America: black, a preacher’s kid, and, eventually, Episcopal priest. His writing is anecdotal and theological. This is a charming read. We will conclude Love is the Way before Epiphany season. To join the discussion, register here. Don’t forget to order the book using smile.amazon.com and use St. Martin’s as your charity of choice!

Lectionary Study Group

Join us every Sunday at 7 pm, we’ll meet on Zoom to discuss the weekly lectionary readings.

We’ll be using the ancient practice of Lectio Divina to enter into the Word. Lectio Divina invites us to meditate on Scripture – to “sit with it” for a while – as a way of delving more deeply into God’s Word.

Sisters of the Spirit

Sisters of the Spirit (SOS) is for women who are interested in exploring their faith through book discussion. The group meets on Mondays from 1-2 pm in the chapel; please enter through the church office. Many in the group meet for lunch before hand at a designated place & all are welcome to join! SOS also occasionally goes to the movies together in place of a weekly meeting, or even have a movie screening party at someone’s home! Information about those events will be posted on our website.

Band of Moms

Hey mama, I’m talking to you! Due to COVID restrictions, we’re currently meeting on Zoom.

Please join us on the second & fourth Sundays of each month at 9:15 am in the library.
