DJ is a lifelong Episcopalian and member of St. Martin’s since 1991, and regularly serves as an usher. He has served our church in many different ways over the years; a few highlights are three terms on the Vestry, Senior Warden, member of the Building Committee, and a Convention delegate.

DJ is married, with three grown sons, all of whom live outside the State of Texas.  He works at BNSF Railway and leads the company’s passenger operations group.  Before that, he served as Assistant to the Chairman of the Burlington Northern Railroad and before that as Superintendent and Director of commuter railroad operations in Chicago for the Burlington Northern.

Before moving to Texas, DJ and his family attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton, Illinois, where he served on the Vestry and as Junior Warden.  Prior to moving to the Chicago area, DJ and his family lived in Arlington, Virginia.  He was raised in the shadow of the University of Michigan football stadium, but has remained loyal to his family’s traditional ties to Michigan State University and the U.S. Naval Academy.
