Worship changes March 8 and 9

We have several changes coming this weekend:

5pm Saturday worship

Our 5pm Saturday worship will use a more contemplative and slower-paced form of worship in the Taizé tradition. Read more about the Taizé Eucharist and plan to join us!

Daylight saving time

Daylight saving time begins – set your clock an hour forward!

8am Sunday worship moves to 8:30am & uses Rite II during Lent

Our 8am Sunday worship moves to 8:30am. This service will Rite II during Lent. Read more about this liturgy change during Lent.

Sunday School moves to 10:30am with a few exceptions

Sunday School for children & teens moves to 10:30am, concurrent with 10:30am worship. We will continue children’s Sunday School at 10:30am through May 18, with three exceptions:

  •  April 6 and May 4, which are First Sunday Family Worship Sundays
  • April 20, which is Easter Day
  • On March 9 and 16, kids in Sunday School at 10:30am will be building a tomb in a project that focuses on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. This is a messy project, so wear clothes that can get paint on them on March 9 and 16! Read more about the tomb project.

10:30am worship will use Rite I

Changing our worship forms will help us intentionally refocus our worship. Read more about this liturgy change during Lent.
