Join us for Trunk or Treat Tailgate on Sunday, October 30 after the 10:30 am worship service. Reserve a spot to park your vehicle in a designated “tailgate section” and pass out candy to little ones. Bring your grill, cooler, tailgate games and maybe even card games and plan to hang out, mingle and have a great time. Reserving a spot is an easy way to help support mission trips at St. Martin’s. This event has something for all ages!

Event with a mission

This fun event is an easy way to help support mission trips like our recent New Orleans mission trip and City Week. Mission trips at St. Martin’s bring adults and teens together, working side by side to make a difference in the world. This type of ministry opens eyes, hearts and minds to those in need and reminds us of Jesus’ call to love others. It’s part of our DNA at St. Martin’s: “to be Jesus Christ’s heart, hands and feet to our neighbors no matter where they are on their journey of faith.

Sign up for a spot!

Choose your “spot” for a flat fee donation of $20. You can park your vehicle in the tailgate section starting at 9:30 am on October 30. We’ll have friendly teens and adult volunteers guiding you to your parking spot. Click here to reserve your spot! All proceeds from reserving spots will go directly to mission trip funding.

Trick or Treat and Tailgate

After the 10:30 am service, we’re inviting children to visit each vehicle to safely “trick or treat,” an everyone is invited to invited to enjoy our tailgate atmosphere! This event will end at 2 pm.

Make it fun!

  • Everyone is encouraged to dress up as a modern day saint or a fun costume (not too scary!)
  • Jazz up your vehicle with decorations
  • Bring candy or treats to hand out to “trick or treaters” after the 10:30 am service
  • Bring your grill, card games, ice chest and lots of yummy goodies and tailgate to your heart’s content!

Chat with our teens about mission trips

Our teens will be walking to each vehicle in the tailgate area, thanking participants for being a part of this event. They’ll also talk about the importance of mission trips and their plans for a future mission work.

Volunteer or get more information

Contact our youth minister for more information about Trunk or Treat Tailgate and how you can volunteer for this event. We’ll need folks to help direct vehicles in and out of the tailgate section and to help teens during the event.

I want to support mission trips. How can I donate?

It truly takes a village to take the Gospel of Jesus into the world and make a difference through mission work. These experiences also equip our people for a lifetime of service and ministry, changing their hearts and minds forever.
Your financial support makes mission trips possible. You can place a check in the offering plate during any service (Saturday at 5 pm, Sunday at 8:30 am and 10:30 am). Please mark in the memo “trunk or treat tailgate.” You can donate online with the form below (removed after event).
