St. Martin’s Episcopal School Creates Butterfly Prayers

The students of St. Martin’s Episcopal School found a new way to pray in chapel today with Miss Corrie, school chaplain. The students were invited to draw pictures of loved ones and pray while drawing.

The children created butterflies out of their paper prayers and hung them on a tree by the children’s altar in the education building. As we look towards Easter, butterflies are a great symbol of the new life we find through Christ. Take a moment and check out these photos in our Flickr gallery.
