Last Sunday, Lezlee Kinney, volunteer coordinator from Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County visited St. Martin’s. She spoke about working to end homelessness.Union Gospel Mission offers hope and a new start for many people. Lezlee encouraged the congregation and thanked them for joining forces with Union Gospel Mission to battle homelessness.
The children of St. Martin’s entered the sanctuary, bringing canned goods to the altar for a blessing. After the service, young and old participated in Service Sunday, making 100 sack lunches for the homeless served by Union Gospel Mission. Join us on November 9 for the next Service Sunday and help feed those in need.
