Radical Hospitality:The Next Step

Radical Hospitality: The Next Step will be led by Heather Wilson, Holistic Practitioner and the Rev. Michael Wallens.  This class seeks to take “radical hospitality”, our “brand” of welcoming newcomers, to a new level.  We will look at our baptismal covenant and how we live out a life of faith by how we welcome those we already know and ourselves! Join us starting Wednesday, January 8 at 10:00am in the Chapel. Contact mike.wallens@stmartininthefields.org for more info.

Get to know Heather Wilson as we welcome her knowledge and gifts to St. Martin’s!

Meet Heather Wilson, Holistic practitionerHeather Wilson Pic
Heather Wilson is a massage therapist, licensed esthetician, internationally trained reflexologist, massage therapy instructor and continuing education provider for massage therapists, cosmetologists and estheticians. A life-long learner herself, she has focused her career on educating others, whether one on one or in formal school settings.  In 2010, she left the service room to manage the massage therapy department and teach a business course at a vocational school in Dallas.  During her time there, she restructured the program, improved state testing scores and developed and assisted the Director of Education in a campus-wide training program to provide similar outcomes in the additional programs on campus. Realizing her heart was in holistic healing, she left the school and re-opened her business in 2013. Married 24 years, Heather lives in the area with two daughters and one very spoiled yorkie.

Heather brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to St. Martin’s and is looking forward to teaming up with Fr. Mike Wallens to start the next step in Radical Hospitality.
